A 32-year-old pastor is currently in police net for assaulting and impregnating an 11-year old girl in his church. The pastor, Solomon Eze, in charge of Hepzibah Assembly of all Nations International, located at 2 Arogbo Lane, off Odunbaku Street, Iju Ishaga, Lagos, was alleged to have adviced the girl’s mother to move out of her house and stay in the church because an arrow of death had been shot into her house.

The woman then moved into the church with her children and few months later, noticed strange things about her daughter who complained of stomach pain and was showing signs of malaria.

P.M News reports that she she contacted a nurse who then treated her for malaria, but the sickness continued until she underwent a scan and it was discovered that she was two months pregnant.

The girl later opened up that Pastor Eze gave her holy water to drink and also gave her a red substance to rub on her face. She said she became partially unconscious afterwards and only noticed the pastor on top of her.

According to the report, when she wanted to scream, Eze used his hand to cover her mouth before having sex with her, and told her she would die if she told anyone.

The matter, which was reported at Iju Police Station, was brought before a Senior Magistrates’ Court, Abule Egba.

The prosecutor, Inspector Rachael Williams, told the court that sometime in August, 2014, the accused unlawfully and indecently assaulted the victim by forcing her to drink what he described as holy water and gave her a red substance that looked like blood to rub on her face.

Pastor Eze pleaded not guilty and the presiding magistrate, Mr. T.A. Elias, ordered him to be remanded in prison pending the advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) was recveived. The matter was adjourned till January 2015
