A man is currently in police net for hiring a woman to act as a cripple while he pretended to heal her in a fraudulent miracle session.

Ghana’s Citi FM 97.3 reports that the pastor Jonas Abedi allegedly contacted Reverend Ewurama Annan, a priest in Ghana on Facebook, claiming to be a pastor based in New York.

Annan then invited Abedi to the Founder of Power Explosion Chapel at Tantra Hills, Accra, after the 'pastor' said he was visiting Ghana for a programme.

He began to perform miracles immediately he arrived

A Metro UK report states: “First, he attempted to heal a seemingly crippled woman who had been brought there by her sister.

Then, he called a young man for using charms to seduce a woman and later revealed the phone number and personal details of another person.

However, Rev Annan noticed that none of the people involved in the processes were members of her church and asked elders to monitor the group.

Abedi's act was finally revealed when the 'cripple' and her sister, along with two men, met up at a petrol station where a man handed them money.

The men sped off as the women were apprehended, but were later arrested by police along with Abedi at a hotel. Both women then confessed it was a hoax.

Abedi, 35, is now being held together with the woman, Helena Donkor, 40, and Enoch Mortey, 29, Divine Kwadwo Columbus, 36 and Christiana Quainoo, 36".
