Man arraigned for disguising as female prostitute to dupe men

This prostitute would follow men to the hotel and after collecting money, would give the excuse that “she” was having her menstrual period. Hmmm.. How does that make men feel?

Well, the truth has come out. This prostitute is an 18-year-old man, Tajudeen Olamide, who disguised as a female prostitute!

He was arraigned on Friday before an Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun State. He is facing a two-count charge of behaving in an indecent manner in public and persistently importuning or soliciting for the purpose of prostitution.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) the Prosecutor, Sgt. Olumide Awoleke, told the court that Olamide committed the offences on November 8 at Kajola Areaof the state at about 4:15 a.m.

The report reads: "Awoleke said that the accused, who disguised as a woman and followed men to hotels, and after collecting money from them; would lie that he was having menstrual period.

He also said that the accused usually put cotton wool on his chest to make him look like a woman.
 
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty".

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs A.O. Abimbola, granted the bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties in like sum. The sureties, according to the magistrate, must be working and residing within the court’s jurisdiction and also produce tax clearance for the past one year.

The case was adjourned till December16.
