A Belgian chocolate company had named their chocolate ISIS long before the dreaded terrorist group called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) emerged. Now the company has been forced to change the name because people are now staying away from it.

Due to sales drop and the need to distance itself from the terrorists, “ISIS” chocolate has now been changed to “Libeert” chocolate.

The company was initially known as "Italo Suisse", (Italy and Switzerland) but last year, they decided to shorten it to ISIS, because it was no longer associated to either Italy or Switzerland.

But since the terrorist group, ISIS, come into the scene this year, the chocolate company’s sales suffered heavily.

The company, founded in 1923, which produces more than 5000 tons of chocolate yearly, will as from January 2015, be known as “Libeert”
