Why it’s dangerous to ignore your husband’s WhatsApp message

A Saudi man divorced his wife of two years, because she failed to reply to a WhatsApp text message. Reports said the man sent the message from his office and waited in vain for a response from his wife. 

Emirates 24/7 reports that the man, thinking something was wrong, rushed home, only to find her watching television.

The reason she gave for not replying angered the man. She said she was busy chatting with friends on WhatsApp and wanted to reply later. The report said he divorced her instantly.

Gulf News quoted him as saying: “I sent her messages on WhatsApp and knew she had read them because of the latest update on the application but still she didn't answer me or acknowledged my messages”.
