Islamist terrorists sect, Boko Haram has returned to Chibok Township in Borno state where they had kidnapped over 200 schoolgirls in April 2014. 

Saharareporters reports that this time, the insurgents reportedly killed an unspecified number of villagers. 

Reports also had it that the rest of the villagers escaped through bush parts and headed to Damboa after Nigerian troops fled the village.

Residents who spoke to the online medium said the sect militants had arrived Thursday night and began shooting randomly before heading to the village center to announce it has taken it over as part of its Islamist caliphate.
