Tambuwal picks APC Presidential nomination form

Speaker the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has picked the notice of intent and nomination forms to run for the office of president of Nigeria on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (‎APC).

Alhaji Tambuwal recently defected from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with many thinking that he was to run for the governorship seat in his home State,  Sokoto.

With Tambuwal’s  entry into the presidential race, the number of those seeking the APC’s ticket will increase to five, already having former Head of State, General Muhammad Buhari; former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; Chairman of Leadership Newspapers, Sam Nda-Isiah; and current Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who have all already picked their nomination and expression of interest forms.
