After six months on “exile” or at “war” with Instagram, Rihanna has finally mended fences with the photo sharing platform. She had been away from the social media platform since May when her account was shut down because some of her posts violated Instagram’s terms of service.

In April, Instagram, which prohibits nude or sexually suggestive photographs, had flagged some of her photos as nudity after she posted the uncensored topless - and bottomless - pictures from her on French Magazine, Lui.

But on Saturday night her account was restored and she marked her return with a single upside-down post, and a simple “Hellurrr #badgalback”.

And to show that she was no longer angry with Instagram, she posted this graphic with the hashtag #RIHunited:

Instagram seems to have preserved her account, too. Her old pictures were still up with exception to the nude ones. She still has her 12.9 million+  followers.

A part of Instagram’s community guidelines states: “If you wouldn’t show the photo or video you are thinking about uploading to a child, or your boss, or your parents, you probably shouldn’t share it on Instagram”
