Deeper Life Church bans members from using ipads and android devices
The use of ipads and android devices for reading the bible has been banned in the Deeper Life Church.
Encomium Weekly reports that the founder and General Superintendent of the church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, announced the ban.
According to him, the ban was necessary to curtail distractions during sermons as some members have been caught surfing the internet for other purposes while pretending to be reading the bible.
Deeper Life church, in the past, was believed to be “anti-technology” discouraging the owning of Television sets and several other gadgets. However, the church is reputed to be effective in using satellite transmissions to beam their worship sessions nationwide especially during crusades and conventions
