Death is said to be capable of "doing a couple part" but it failed to do so on Friday, July 25, 2014 when a man and a woman committed suicide together and were found dead in bed lovingly wrapped in each others arms.

The incident happened  in a Hilton Garden Inn hotel on Staten Island, New York, USA, where Police said it was an apparent double suicide.

At about 1pm that day, hotel staffers had gone to check on the couple,Theresa Mateo, 37, of The Bronx and Scott Jacobi, 35, of Staten Island, who were supposed to have check out only to discover their bodies, police said.

“The housekeeper went in and they were just lying in bed together. There was no blood, nothing like that, no signs that weapons were used,” a hotel employee told New York Post.

“It’s really sad. They were in their mid-thirties. That’s young,” the worker said about the mysterious deaths. “Thank God we found them quick.”

One of Jacobi's neighbour for six years, Terry Delre, said the deceased was a happy, hardworking man.“He was such a good guy. He was such a sweetheart . . . I called him my second son. Clean cut, hardworking, no wild parties, no nothing. I never once seen that boy drunk,” she said.
“I can’t even picture this, he was such a stable-minded guy. I can’t imagine what transpired.”

According to police sources, the couple did not leave a note and there were no weapons in the room or any evidence of drugs or drug paraphernalia.
