» » Chinese TV reports missing Algerian airplane has crashed in Niger


Even though an Algerian aviation official has told Reuters that the last contact Algerian authorities had with the missing Air Algerie aircraft was at 2.55am UK time when it was flying over Gao, Mali, Chinese TV, CCTV reports that the plane may have crashed in Niger. This is yet to be confirmed by authorities. CCTV tweeted the report.

About 50 French people were on board according to the passenger list made available.
