RMD to get chieftaincy title from Igbo Film Festival

Nollywood Actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), is set to become a Nollywood Chief.

The actor, it was learnt, would be honoured with the chieftaincy title – “Dike Oha na Nollywood.”

According to th founder of the Nollywood Igbo Film Festival, Nze Harris Chuma, RMD would get the title during the three day festival taking place in Asaba, the Delta State capital, from August 27 to August 30.

He said RMD deserved the title because of his immence contributions to the development of Nigeria's film industry.

RMD, is currently the Commissioner for Arts and Culture in Delta State.
