Ini Edo, Desmond Elliot, to become Lawyers
Nollywood stars, Iniobong Edo-Ihegiwani (Ini Edo) and
Desmond Elliot are obviously not thinking of remaining within the confines of
acting. The duo wants to become lawyers.
They have just enrolled to study law at the National Open
University of Nigeria, NOUN. Their matriculation ceremony held last weekend.
Photos posted showed them beaming with smiles as they posed in their matriculation gowns.
Desmond who is reported to be on scholarship by the university,
expressed his joy on twitter and used the opportunity to encourage fans who
wish to tow the same line of going back to school.
His words: “I feel like some 12 years ago @desmondelliot, we
are doing this for real #openuniversity#lawstudent#educationistheketosuccess#
if we can do it, you can do it; it is never too late”
Ini Edo, already holds a diploma in Theatre Arts from the
University of Uyo as wells as a degree in English from the University of
Calabar.
