There was confusion in Nicki Minaj’s camp when an anaconda being used for rehearsal has decided to act outside the script. A 6ft long snake bit one of her dancers while rehearsing the hit song, Anacondo for ahead of Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards performance, yesterday. She was reportedly rushed to a hospital for treatment.
According to TMZ, a snake was part of the planned performance at the upcoming ceremony.
It is believed the snake was an anaconda and the reptile can still cause dangerous infections by spreading bacteria.
According to the report, the snake was taken away after the incident and it was not immediately clear if it would still be used in the performance.
Nicki dropped the very raunchy video for Anaconda earlier this week, and no doubt has been planning a performance that's just as shocking.
Anaconda is Nicki's second single from her upcoming album The Pinkprint.
