Wanna get high? Marijuana-infused drink now on sale

If you want to get high and do not have the “thing” for smoking recreational marijuana, there is now an alternative in a soft drink. Soft? No, fizzy drink or soda is more appropriate because it cannot be soft with cannabis (marijuana) in it. There is now on sale in Washington USA, a cannabis-infused fizzy drink called “Legal”.

It hits the market less than two months after it became legal to smoke recreational cannabis in the state.

The Telegraph UK reports that the drinks “come in cherry, lemon and pomegranate flavours but are all infused with 10mg of liquid cannabis. You can get them around $10 only.

The Washington-based company that makes the drink promises the drink is "so ridiculously relaxing that you may find yourself becoming one with your furniture".

The company is also planning to infuse iced coffee so that when you take it for breakfast, "You’ll swim off into a day of work or play filled to the brim with pure joy”.

However, only certified cannabis dispensaries can sell the fizzy drink but hopefully, you’ll one day find them in that supermarket within your neighbourhood; so, relax.

Washington became the second state to legalise recreational cannabis after Colorado began sales in January.

The Law allows adults, aged 21 and above, across the United States to legally smoke, eat, and generally consume marijuana for recreational and medical purposes.

In both states, only adults 21 and older are allowed to possess up to one ounce of usable marijuana, and both states have strict laws against driving while intoxicated.

Colorado allows each household to grow up to six recreational marijuana plants but Washington is against home-growing marijuana for recreational use.
