The prosecutor, Ocheche Samuel, told the court in Kuje area council, Abuja, that the case was reported at the police station on August 19, by one Doh Ibrahim, the convict’s neighbour who caught him “banging” the goat in a bathroom at Sauka Extension area in Kuje where he resided.
According to him, the accused, who happened to be a tailor, tried running away when he was found in the ugly act but was apprehended and handed over to the police.
Samuel said that the offence contravened Section 284 of the Criminal Code.
Abdul was sentenced to one year imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to a one-count charge of unnatural and indecent offences.
The presiding judge, Mr. Adamu Wakili, however, gave him an option of fine of N15, 000, but ordered that the accused be remanded in Kuje prison for a year if he failed to met the fine condition.
