An 87-year-old Uncle to former Baylesa State governor, Timipre Sylva has died in the hands of kidnappers who abducted him.

The Bayelsa Police Command has confirmed the death of the 87-year-old  Chief Eseni Adigie. His body was recovered from a shallow grave Kula community, a border town between Rivers and Bayelsa states.

Eseni was abducted over a month ago by kidnappers who demanded  ransom before his release.

His family had paid the sum of N5million to secure his release, not knowing that he had been killed.
