Elder statesman and a former Minister of Information, Chief Edwin Clark, has said that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) newcomer, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu will be used to betray President Goodluck Jonathan if allowed to have his way in the party.
He warned the PDP leadership not to grant the former EFCC boss waiver to contest the Adamawa governorship election.
Speaking at a press conference being followed by PUNCH at his residence in Abuja, Clark said the former anti-corruption czar was known for raising false alarm against governors elected on the platform of the party when he held sway as EFCC chairman.
He also accused Ribadu of being involved in the impeachment of an unnamed governor of the party.
