Ferguson racial protests in pictures

It is a racially charged demonstration in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri, USA, that resulted from a sad incident – the shooting of an unarmed black teen, Michael Brown, by a white police officer on August 9, 2014.

Protests and looting have continued and Police in US said Tuesday that they came under heavy gunfire and arrested up to 78 people. Some of the looters arrested were said to be non-residents of Missouri some of them from Texas.

 A breakdown of the arrests shows:
- 4 residents of Ferguson
- 48 residents of the St. Louis area
- 5 Missouri residents
- 18 out-of-state residents
