A Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter has crashed in Borno
The aircraft, according to a statement from the Defense Headquarters, was on a training mission when it developed a technical fault and crashed.
Defence spokesman, Chris Olukolade, said
investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances that led to the
accident.
He said the crash of the plane was not as a result of any enemy action.The statement said further details on the crash will be made known as investigation progresses.
There was also no word on whether there were casualties or not.
