Ebola: Woman smashes bottle on man’s head for hugging her

The fear of the Ebola virus has become the beginning of violence in Lagos as a woman smashed a beer bottle on a man’s head for hugging her from behind without her consent “in this season of Ebola”.

According to LEADERSHIP newspaper, the incident took place at Ajah area of Lagos State.

The woman identified as Bunmi was said to have been upset that her friend, Ademola Ojikutu, held her from behind without her consent.

Her elder sister, Yemi, told LEADERSHIP that her sister was afraid of contracting Ebola and had since refused to shake or hug anybody including her (Yemi).

Yemi said she was in a discussion with her sister, when the unfortunate man, Ademola Ojikutu came and held her from behind. Enraged Bunmi was said to have picked a bottle from a nearby beer parlour and smashed it on his head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital as blood was gushing out of his head.
