She fell in love with a 12 year old orphan during her family’s last holiday in Thailand, and she is reported to be interested in adopting the girl but the thai government is against it.The revelation came from Sunday’s episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”
The Kardashians had visited an orphanage in Thailand where they met other kids but Kim was specially drawn to the girl named Pink. She even called her husband, Kanye with regards to the possibility of taking the girl with her to the US.
But when she inquired about the paper work, she was told by a source that "the Thai government ‘does not encourage’ foreigners to adopt Thai children and remove them from the country.
‘You get so passionate about things,’ she added.
The family produced sacks of gifts for the children – including footballs, a volleyball kit and other sporting items.
'I grew up with such a strong family bond and connection, it makes me so sad that these kids don’t have that family element,' Kim had said.
