Reports have it that English Premier league side, Tottenham Hotspur, are weighing up a  £2m signing for Nigerian U20 international Moses Simon.

According to the UK Mirror, Spurs scouts watched the 19 year old in action for his Slovakian club, AS Trencin this week and were impressed. AS Trencin played Hull City for a place in this season’s Europa League but lost.

If Simon does sign for Tottenham, he would be the second Nigerian player to arrive While Hart Lane this season after 17 year old Musa Yahaya.

Andy Walker of tottenhamway.com stated: “Simon was first linked with Spurs in April 2013, so it’s likely he’s a player we’ve been keeping an eye on for some time.

“I don’t know anything about Simon, except that he has been very impressive since signing for Trenchin in January and boasts nine goals in 17 appearances for the club, including seven in his last five league matches”
