West Bromwich Albion’s £10m signing, Brown Ideye, has resolved his visa issues and will now join his team mates in training this week.
The striker had been held back in Nigeria due to some unresolved visa issues at the British embassy.
He said on Twitter: “So happy to announce my visa has been issued. Will join the team ASAP.”
West Brom’s coach, Alan Irvine, has described the former Dynamo Kyiv forward who signed a three-year deal, as “strong, quick and powerful”. The 25-year-old, who has scored five goals in 24 appearances for Nigeria, will have to integrate himself quickly into the squad which will open their premier league season at home to Sunderland on August 16.
