Speaking on Bogota’s Radio La FM, he said about his choice of flavor: “I’ll recommend the guava flavour condom. When I was growing up, we had a guava tree in our garden and that’s a flavour and aroma that’s very good for romancing.”
Tweeeting after the radio interview, the ex-Columbian international added: “The main goal for me, really, is to support a campaign to prevent AIDS and teen pregnancies with a line of condoms,”.
The 44-year-old who is fondly called “El Tino” also revealed that the line of condoms is already underway from China and that it would be sold under the brand name “Tino”
El Tino, it was learnt, turned down a lucrative offer by an Italian porn company to star in one of their films last year. Why the invitation? Well, he is widely believed in Columbia to be fully “endowed”.
Since retiring from football in 2009, Asprilla has maintained a busy business profile, setting up a Newcastle-linked academy in his home country and also building a portfolio of real estate farming land.
With his latest condom venture, he joins the likes of Ronaldinho and 50 Cent in the same line of business. Ronaldinho’s brand is called Sex free while 50 Cent’s is Magic Stick.
Asprilla added that his condoms will come in variety of flavours and in all sizes but we hope he took into consideration a complaint logged recently by Ugandan men. LOL...
