As the list of aspirants vying for governorship seats in the 36 states across the country continues to swell ahead of the 2015 general elections, a Catholic priest has joined the fray. Reverend Father Francis Eworo, has joined the list of those vying for the position of governor of Cross River State.
Eworo declared his ambition in a press statement issued in Calabar on Thursday.
He said his wealth of experience as well as his understanding of the dynamics of the state informed his decision to join the governorship race.
According to him, his ambition was borne out of the need to consolidate on the achievements of Governor Liyel Imoke and make the state economically viable through private sector driven initiatives.
