NFF elections: Amaju Pinnick wins, becomes new Chairman

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has elected a new Chairman today in Warri, Delta State. He is Melvin Amaju Pinnick, the Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission.

He won after two rounds of elections at the Golden Tulip Hotel, in the oil city. He scored 25 votes in the first round and scored 32 in the second.

The elections held despite a court injunction served the 37 FA Associations and the principal officers including Sports Minister, Dr Tammy Danagogo to stop the elections.
