Irrespective of all the negative reports attached to the First Lady,
Dame Patience Jonathan, a lot of Nigerians can still stand up for her…
An attempt to ridicule our first lady by an American presenter on E!, Alicia Quarles, is being gallantly rebuffed by Nigerians on twitter.
A reported tweet from Alicia Quarles said the first lady has made a request to her to come and perform in Nigeria, obviously mistaking her for Alicia Keys. Of course, when properly pronounced, Alicia Quarles may sound exactly like Alicia Keys.
She wrote: ‘The First Lady of Nigeria just invited me to sing in her country. I had to break it to her that I’m Alicia Quarles, not @aliciakeys comedy,’
Well, following the backlash that followed her attempt to stamp another season of humiliation and “blunder” on Dame, Alicia Quarles deleted the tweet but Nigerians still took her up.
