The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the time-table for the nomination of candidates for elective offices as wells the dates for its primaries. Governorship and presidential primaries will hold on November 15 and December 2, 2014 respectively.


The timetable signed by the national organising secretary, Osita Izunaso and the national publicity secretary, Lai Mohammed, shows that the sale of expression of interest form for all offices will start October 6 and end October 19.

Sale of forms for the presidential candidates will run from October 20 to November 6 while screening will take place between November 10 and 13, and the party's national convention will hold December 2. November 14 and 15 are for appeals.

The sale of nomination forms for those interested in the governorship race is slated for between October 20 and November 9, 2014, while the screening of aspirants will hold as from November 10 to 12, 2014 and appeals slated for between November 13 and 14, 2014.

The sale of nomination forms for senatorial aspirants will begin on 20 October and end on 17 November, 2014, while their screening will hold between November 19 and 20, 2014.

Also appeals relating to the conduct of the screening exercise will be heard on November 24 and 25.
Senatorial primaries will hold on November 29 and appeals will be heard between December 1 and 2, 2014.

The sale of nomination forms for House of Representatives will commence on October 20 and end on November 16, 2014, while screening of aspirants will start on 17 November and end 19 November 19, 2014.

Appeals will begin from 20 November and end on 21 November, 2014 while primaries will hold on 24 November. Appeals emanating from the primaries will be entertained between November 25 and 26.
