Embarrased at GQ awards! Kim Kardashian walks away with Pharrell’s award

It was quite a gaffe yesterday at the GQ awards yesterday when Kim KArdashian West won the GQ Woman of the Year award but was erroneously presented with the wrong trophy which she walked off stage with.

She was inadvertently handed the award for Solo Artist of the Year, won by Pharrell Williams. She only realized the error when she got backstage at London’s Royal Opera House.

Realizing it, a surprised Kim said: “It says it’s for Pharrell. I was taking pictures with it – I hope no one notices”

Kim K was not the only victim of the mix up at the award distribution at the annual ceremony as numerous winners walked away with the wrong trophy.

MailOnline however reported that Host, James Nesbitt, made light of the error, telling those in attendance: “They changed the running order at the last minute, so a few of you winners might find you have someone else’s award in your hand. If you want the correct award, go and speak to (GQ editor) Dylan Jones”
