Imagine what it looks like, having coaches of the world’s best clubs gathered in one room and locked in a serious discussion.

That scenario played out on Wednesday and Thursday when a host of the world's top club bosses gathered for the annual manager's meeting at the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The meeting, which was first held in 1999, allows Europe's top coaches to discuss different points in the game, including various club competitions, refereeing issues and to debate the game's overall development.

In attendance were UEFA president, Michele Platini, former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, who attended as the group’s ambassador; Arsene Wenger of Arsenal; Jose Mourinho of Chelsea; Manuel Pellegrini of Manchester City’ Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid; Pep Guardiola of Bayern Munich, Lius Enrique of Barcelona and a host of others.

Manchester United Manager, Louis van Gaal, who has in the past, won the Bundesliga, La Liga and Eredivisie, was not in attendance because the gathering was exclusively for bosses whose side's are in European competition this season.
