It has just been discovered that Amber Vinson, the second nurse who
contracted Ebola in the US had boarded a flight with 132 other passengers, from
Ohio to Texas, the night before she was diagnosed of the dreaded virus.
Authorities in the US are now racing and scrambling to contact the 132 persons.
Vinson, 29, it was learnt, caught a
Frontier Airlines flight from Cleveland, Ohio, to Dallas-Fort Worth on October
13.
The US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention said Ms Vinson had not
shown any symptoms while on the flight, according to the cabin crew.
Ms Vinson is a nurse at Texas Health
Presbyterian Hospital, and treated Thomas Eric Duncan - the first person to die
of Ebola in the US.
Vinson is the second health care
worker to contract the virus in the hospital, after fellow nurse, Nina Pham,
who was diagnosed at the weekend.
Meanwhile, President Barack Obama has postponed a political trip to New
Jersey and Connecticut in order to stay at the White House for a high-level
meeting on Ebola.
