Miracle cure by 77-year-old woman who licks patient’s eyeballs

You have heard that there is power in the tongue…May be that is why a 77-year-old woman in Bosnia, Hava Cebic, is claiming to have a miracle cure in her tongue. She has been helping her neighbours and friends with their eye problems for 40 years.

According to Mrs Cebic, she can cure all kinds of eye problems by licking the patient’s eyeball. She says that a quick wipe of her special saliva can cure allergies, dry eyes and conjunctivitis. She claims too that she can also reduce the symptoms of more serious conditions like cataracts.

The tongue healer says that she discovered her tongue's healing power when she was a little girl growing up in Crnjevo, a small village in northern Bosnia.

She had jokingly pinned down her brother and licked his eyeball after he complained of dry eyes. And that cured him and his sight improved after that encounter. That prompted her to tackle more serious eye ailments.

Now she claims that people plagued by eye problems have come from as far as Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla, Kaknja, Croatia and other cities in Bosnia.

What about the possibility of transmitting or transferring infections? Mrs Cebic says she dips her tongue into alcohol before and after an eye-lick, a practice which may prevent infection.

She now hopes that her tongue will be cut off after her death so that it can continue its work of healing the eyes of the sick.

The eyeball-licking calls to mind a trend that is the in-thing among young lovers in Japan. It is called “oculolinctus” – licking a lover’s eyeball as an expression of love. 

May be kissing is going out of fashion. LOL…
