Chief Magistrate assassinated in Enugu

A serving Chief Magistrate O J Nwani was on Tuesday killed by suspected assassins.

According to DailyPost report, the Magistrate, who serves in Enugu South, Magisterial division was reportedly called by his assailant and was shot severally in the chest and head when he came out.

It was further gathered that he was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he was declared dead.

Confirming the incident, the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ebere Amaraizu said that the command had not made any arrest, but that efforts were on catch the killers.
