Ebola: South African woman tests negative in Lagos

The South African woman who was arrested yesterday at the Lagos airport on suspicion of having the Ebola Virus Disease has tested negative.

This was confirmed today by Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, who added that she is however being investigated for other diseases.

The South African woman flew into the Murtala Muhammed International Airport from Morocco on Thursday.

Newson247 reported on Thursday that she was quarantined when acknowledged suffering from diarrhea and vomiting, both possible symptoms of the Ebola virus disease.
