Veteran journalist and writer, Dimgba Igwe is dead

Veteran Journalist and writer, Dimgba Igwe is dead. He was aged 58. He was this morning knocked down by a fast moving vehicle while jogging around Agor Roundabout area of Okota, Lagos.

He sustained a fatal injury and was immediately taken to the hospital where he underwent surgical emergency. He died shortly after.

 Igwe was the Vice Chairman of The Sun Publishing Limited, publishers of The Sun Newspapers and Associate Publisher of Entertainment Express Newspaper. Dimgba who also doubles as Assistant General Overseer of Evangel Pentecostal Church.

He co-authored popular books like, Osoba: The Newspaper Years, The Arts of Feature Writing and Mike Adenuga: The Business Guru among others. He was the Tuesday back-page columnist of the Sun Newspaper

The Chairman of the Sun Publishing Limited Dr Orji Uzor Kalu who was shocked by the death of Mr Igwe has described the day as the darkest day in the history of the organization.
