Witchcraft: Fight breaks out in church during night vigil

There was confusion during a night vigil service at the Church of All Saints, Makurdi Benue state, on Wednesday September 3, when fight suddenly broke out between two women over accusation of witchcraft.

According to DailyPost an unidentified woman who was in solemn reflection suddenly jumped up and violently attacked another woman identified simply as Christy, shouting on top of her voice that it had been revealed to her that she was a witch.

She held on to Christy and insisted that she was going to expose her witch craft before the crowd. “Christy is the cause of many problems in people’s lives. She has been destroying people’s families, enough is enough”, she shouted.

But surprisingly, Christy also attacked and tore her accuser’s cloth to shreds.
Both women were then taken outside after members of the congregation stopped the fight.
A member of the church said that the accuser was probably in the church for the first time because she was unfamiliar.

Another worshipper who spoke to DailyPost said: “I just believe she was under the influence of the holy spirit. She couldn’t have accused the woman falsely when they just met in church,” the church member said.
