In what many would consider a condemnable act of wickedness, two thugs commanded their pit bull to attack a disabled 12-year-old girl in a wheelchair.

The girl was being pushed by her father at Lings Wood nature reserve in Northampton, UK on Friday where the men were also walking their dog. The girl was reportedly upset by the dog and she waved her arms at it. One of the thugs then got hold of the dog and commanded it to attack.

The vicious animal then clamped its jaws around the girl’s arm but the girl’s father bravely intervened, preventing his daughter from harm. The beast’s jaws would have injured her if not for the arm guards which she was wearing because of her disability.

The two men fled after the attack but Police has launched a search for them after obtaining and publishing their description.

Mirror UK quotes Inspector Kev Byrne, of ¬Northamptonshire Police, as saying: “This is an absolutely disgraceful incident. It is not a case of a dog being out of control, but being used as a weapon in an assault on a very vulnerable girl.”

Police description of the culprits: The men are black and in their 30s. One was around 6ft, clean-shaven with short black hair and wore a blue T-shirt and jeans while the other is around 5ft 10in with medium length Afro-style hair and wore a white T-shirt and jeans.

The dog: a black and white pit bull with a white stripe from the top of its head to its nose.
