A man, simply identified as Akpan has abandoned his wife in a hospital in Lagos on hearing that she gave birth to twins, which happened to be both girls.

He fled their residence and had not been seen since last Thursday when the wife, Ekaite gave birth.

According to LEADERSHIP, neighbours had expected Akpan to rejoice on hearing the news, but were surprised to hear him hiss and abandon his home.

Ekaite’s relatives were left to settle the hospital bills and pack her belongings from her husband’s house after waiting for Akpan for three days. She and her twin girls are now in a relative’s place in Ajah.
