Who would be Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate? This is the question chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would answer by the end of Friday when they reconvene.
Buhari had won the primaries on Thursday with 3,430, beating Rabiu Kwankwaso, Abubakar Atiku, Rochas Okorocha and Sam Nda-Isaiah to 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places respectively.
Kwankwaso has since been given the ticket to run for a seat in Senate.
Those on the radar for Vice President spot include: Governors Rotimi Amaechi, Tunde Fashola, Adams Oshiomhole of Rivers, Lagos and Edo states respectively.
Also being taunted for the position is the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi and a one-time Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos, Prof Yemi Oshibajo.
Religious consideration may however rule out Fashola.
