REALIGNMENTS! 5 PDP lawmakers decamp to APC, another 5 from APC decamp to SDP

Five members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC). They announced their defection on the floor of the House of Representatives on Tuesday. 

Another five lawmakers from APC also announced their defection to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

The recent political realignments is no doubt a fallout of the just concluded primaries in all the parties.

Punch reports that

Among the defectors were his son, Mr. Olumide Osoba. Among those who left the PDP for the APC was Mr. Ibrahim El-Sudi, the lawmaker who investigated the alleged collapse of the Nigerian Capital Market and recommended the sacking of the DG of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Ms Arunmah Oteh. 

The fifth member, Mrs. Aisha Ahmed, defected to the Peoples Democratic Movement.
