Cristiano Ronaldo has kicked off Christmas for his Real Madrid team-mates, giving each of them a CR7 branded Bulgari wristwatch worth £6,500 each. Each watch is engraved with the recipient’s name, “CR7” and “La Decima” in recognition of their club’s 10th European cup won last season.
AS reports that the player presented the watches as a mark of gratitude to them for their help in his five-year successful career in the club where he became the World footballer of the year.
The 29-year-old Portuguese international gave out the accessories on Friday just before they travelled to their team hotel for the La Liga match against Almeria which they won 4-1.
The first player to show off his new watch was defender Alvaro Arbeloa, who posted a picture of himself, the watch, and Ronaldo on Instagram.
