» » Finally, Buhari chooses Prof. Osinbajo as running mate

Former Attorney-General of Lagos State, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been chosen as running mate to presidential aspirant of All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari.

His nomination comes on deadline day for submission of running mates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Osinbajo is a professor of law, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Senior Partner in the Law firm of SimmonsCooper Partners. He was the head of department of Public Law at the University of Lagos (1997-1999).

He studied at the University of Lagos and the London School of Economics and Political Science where he obtained his LLB and LLM degrees respectively.

Osinbajo is the resident minister at the Olive Tree Redeemed Church and a close aide to the Church’s General Overseer, Enoch Adeboye.
