President Jonathan likened to Jesus Christ

Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, has likened Mr. President to Jesus Christ.

He said Jonathan bears Nigeria’s burden the way Jesus Christ shouldered the burden of Christians.

Speaking on the state of the nation on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, on Monday, Okupe said:

 “People do not understand the burden this president is bearing. He’s like Jesus Christ. He’s bearing the burden of everybody”.

According to him, Jonathan will win the 2015 elections.

Okupe also blamed external factors for the hindrances being faced by the government as it tries to fight the Boko Haram insurgency.
