Rivalry cult groups in two secondary schools clashed on Monday in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, leaving up to 10 students with various degrees of injuries.


Leadership newspaper reports that the clash was an outcome of an initial clash at the weekend, involving some students of St James Anglican Secondary School, Kola Balogun Area and Ansar-U-Deen Secondary School, Iludun, who are believed to be members of rival cult groups.


According to the paper, 

Sources revealed that a group of students from St James had laid siege on Ansar-U-Deen Secondary School early in the morning.
