Canada 2015 Women’s world cup draws..Nigeria in group of death

The draws for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada was conducted yesterday and African Champions, Nigeria’s Super Falcons were drawn in group D alongside two-time champions USA as well as Australia and Sweden.

The championship begins June 6 next year and Nigeria’s first match will be against Sweden on June 8, 2015 in Winnipeg.

Below is a list of the six groups and the 24 countries drawn in each group.

GROUP A – Canada, China PR, New Zealand, Netherlands

GROUP B – Germany, Cote d’Ivoire, Norway, Thailand

GROUP C –Japan, Switzerland, Cameroon, Ecuador

GROUP D – USA, Australia, Sweden, Nigeria

GROUP E – Brazil, Korea Republic, Spain, Costa Rica

GROUP F – France, England, Colombia, Mexico
