Boko Haram: Gombe under attack, military engages fighter jets

Reports reaching Newson247 says that Bajoga town of Gombe State is currently under Boko Haram attack although the terrorists are reported to be in gun battle with the army.

Fighter jets too are reportedly on ground, tackling the insurgents. But like it went down in Damaturu on Monday, the military is applying caution in order to reduce civilian casualty.

The attack reportedly started in the early hours of today.

Bajoga is home to the Ashaka Cement plant which the sect raided last month and carted away explosives.
