Akinwumi Ambode in the early hours of Friday was declared winner of  Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections for the party’s gubernatorial ticket for next year’s election.

Even though early signs showed yesterday that Ambode had carried the day, many still believed that other candidates might still spring surprises.
